Safeguarding Support

Antonia is really knowledgable about the complexities inherent in safeguarding. But she also cares deeply about ensuring that safeguarding processes don’t get in the way of people supporting and taking care of each other. She approaches safeguarding in the spirit of ‘how we can help people to connect with each other, safely and not from the things.

Antonia has shown real leadership on some of the most difficult issues that we have had to deal with as a council. Her efforts haven’t only made a huge difference now – they will continue to make a huge difference into the future for people from across Gloucestershire.

Having Antonia helping us was really great. I learnt so much from just talking to her and the finished policies were very current on legislation but easy enough for myself and staff to understand and adhere to.
