For more than 30 years, I have worked where safeguarding, evidence and decision-making meet. Today, I help professionals and organisations move from uncertainty to confidence, and from compliance to safeguarding that makes a demonstrable difference.
My work has three distinct strands:

Through our Silver and Gold Awards, we look beyond policies to examine how safeguarding is understood, led, recorded and experienced.

If it does not make a positive difference, we do not do it.
DSLs Together is a free professional community for designated safeguarding leads and others carrying safeguarding responsibility.
It is a trusted place to ask questions, exchange ideas and connect with people who understand the realities of the role.
There is no selling, no posturing and no expectation that anyone must have all the answers.
Safeguarding is about bringing difficult things into the light, holding onto hope and protecting every child’s right to experience safety, opportunity and joy.
